Yes, it's true. I designed my own SEPTA map. The map takes proposals made by independent companies, the city and planning commissions over the last hundred years on expanding Philadelphia's subway system and combines them into one map in SEPTA's current style. The map also available makes a great wallpaper (1024x768).
