I forgot to duck. Hard to imagine someone could forget to do something as basic as try and get out of the way of a bad hop grounder to second base but that's exactly what I did. You see I'd been playing goalie for an indoor soccer team and figured I'd just knock down the softball with my head and then throw the guy out at first. Great thinking!
